Peter Win, MD

Dr. Peter Win earned his medical degree from the esteemed University of Southern California School of Medicine. He commenced his medical career with an internship in medicine at UCLA-Olive View Medical Center. Continuing his pursuit of excellence, Dr. Win completed his ophthalmology residency at the renowned Mayo Clinic and vitreoretinal surgical training at the prestigious UCLA Jules Stein Eye Institute.
Throughout his career, Dr. Win has conducted extensive research and contributed to multiple journals on diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, vitrectomy, and intraocular tumors. His dedication and expertise have garnered numerous accolades, including recognition as the outstanding Resident of The Year at the Mayo Clinic, the Rosalind Alcott Fellow in vitreoretinal surgery at Jules Stein Eye Institute, and the Fellow of The Year at Jules Stein Eye Institute. Additionally, he was honored with the prestigious Governor Award from Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Specializing in diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, retinal vein occlusion, retinal detachment, and uveitis, Dr. Win brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his practice. As an assistant instructor at UCLA-Olive View Medical Center, he enjoys sharing his expertise with residents and fellows, covering both clinical and surgical aspects of ophthalmology and retina.
